I live in Alaska, where the temperature was at least 30 below 0 for the last week or longer. My apartment is just a heating and ventilation, because the building is so old, loses heat through all the cracks and crevices. Only about 50 degrees in my apartment at any time, this is not a pleasant temperature. I advised the owner on several occasions that the work that must be corrected, but to no avail. I have to buy heaters to drive my electric bill like crazy. I have a small child sleeping in a room without ventilation work as usual, this work easier. State of Alaska Landlord Tenant Act says that I am entitled to a warning that if the problem is not in ten days to give you the right to terminate the lease. but I'm not sure how to word and form of such a letter. Can anyone help?
